“Watch the Live Broadcast of the Two Sessions and Study the Spirit of the Two Sessions” Party Member Conference

Spring has returned to the land, bringing with it a fresh renewal of all things. The opening session of the Second Session of the 14th National People’s Congress was solemnly held at the Great Hall of the People at 9:00 a.m. on March 5, attended by Party and state leaders including Xi Jinping. To stay abreast of the agenda and outcomes of the Two Sessions and to further enhance the understanding of major national policies and guidelines among all Party members and cadres, as well as to sharpen their political sensitivity and awareness, the Party branch of Wuchan Daofu organized all its members to watch the live broadcast of the opening session, enabling them to promptly grasp the key contents, follow the hot topics, and study the spirit of the meeting.

During the session, all Party members and cadres displayed a keen interest in the opening meeting, attentively following the live broadcast and carefully listening to Premier Li Qiang’s Report on the Work of the Government. The report summarized the remarkable achievements and key priorities of 2023 and outlined the government’s tasks for 2024. Party members unanimously stated that they would take the spirit of the Two Sessions as their guide, closely align their work with practical realities, remain acutely aware of the problems and challenges they face, clearly define their goals and direction, continuously energize their enthusiasm for work, and contribute to the company’s development.

The meeting emphasized that 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and is a pivotal year for achieving the goals set forth in the 14th Five-Year Plan. All members of the Party branch are required to regard in-depth study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the National Two Sessions as a major political task for the present and the period ahead, swiftly generating a vigorous upsurge in such efforts. Through concrete actions, we must firmly uphold the “two establishments” and resolutely practice the “two safeguards,” maintaining high-level consistency with the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core in terms of political stance, political direction, political principles, and the political path. We must effectively translate the study and implementation of the spirit of the National Two Sessions into tangible results that advance the meticulous execution of all key tasks. At the same time, we should integrate the implementation of the spirit of the National Two Sessions with the study of the provincial and municipal Two Sessions, conduct systematic analysis and in-depth research in light of actual work conditions, and ensure rigorous implementation, so as to guarantee that the spirit of the National Two Sessions is thoroughly put into practice across the entire company, yields concrete results, and contributes to the company’s high-quality development.

After the viewing, everyone felt greatly inspired and encouraged, unanimously agreeing that the Two Sessions of the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference focus on key issues in the development of the Party and the country, build consensus, offer constructive proposals and advice, and deliberate on matters of state. The convening of the Two Sessions is of great significance for achieving the year’s development goals, resolutely winning the battle against poverty, and securing a complete victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects. Moving forward, we must steadfastly take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as our guiding principle; maintain an uplifting, proactive work spirit; adopt a sense of urgency and a relentless drive to make the most of every moment; uphold a tenacious, problem-solving work style that dares to tackle tough challenges head-on; and strive for first-class performance and leadership by setting the highest standards. Only by uniting as one and working diligently can we achieve success.
