Tracing Origins and Rooting in Thought, Emphasizing Practice—Promoting the Asian Games Spirit to Advance High-Quality Development

To further promote the Asian Games spirit, explore and exchange ideas on bank–enterprise cooperation for shared development, and deepen the integration of Party building with business operations, on November 8, the Party branches of Wuchan Daofu, Wuchan International No. 2, and the Business Department of the Provincial Bank of China jointly held a themed Party-building activity entitled “Tracing the Origins, Studying Thought, Emphasizing Practice—Promoting the Asian Games Spirit and Advancing High-Quality Development.”

I. Study the Asian Games Spirit and Strengthen Our Bodies Through Persistent Effort

To begin, everyone visited the main venue of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou and took part in a hiking event. During the hike, Party members from three branches explored the city’s stunning scenery on foot, strengthening their physical health while cultivating unwavering perseverance and a steadfast commitment to their original mission. With smiles on their faces, they embodied the principles of nationwide fitness and healthy living, vowing to embrace the spirit of the Asian Games with even greater enthusiasm and robust physical strength.

II. Tracing the Origins of the Ten-Million Project and Putting the “Eight-Eight” Strategy into Practice

Following the hiking event, Party members boarded a vehicle and headed to Meilin Village in Xiaoshan District—the very place where General Secretary Xi Jinping first conceived and launched the “Ten-Million Project.” In Meilin Village, participants retraced General Secretary Xi’s footsteps by visiting the Meilin Village Center for a Better Life, the “Ten-Million Project” Exhibition Hall, the Community Shared Service Station, the Future Living Exhibition Hall, the Party-and-Community Service Station, and the Community Health Service Station. Through guided briefings, video screenings, and hands-on experiences, they gained a comprehensive understanding of how digital and smart technologies are being implemented in future rural areas, and directly witnessed the remarkable transformation of Meilin Village under the guidance of the “Ten-Million Project.”

Through their visit and study of Meilin Village, Party members deeply appreciated the truth and practical power of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. They unanimously pledged to continue studying and thoroughly grasping the essence of the “8-8 Strategy” and the “Ten-Million Project,” and to further exemplify the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members.

III. Party Building Leadership and Bank-Enterprise Collaboration

At the conclusion of the event, the three parties shared and exchanged insights into their respective practices in Party building, with a particular focus on implementing the “Three Meetings and One Lesson” system at the branch level and fostering deep integration between Party building and business development. They engaged in candid sharing and mutual learning, thereby achieving the goal of enhancing each other through exchange and collaboration. At the same time, guided by Party building, the three parties aligned their subsequent business cooperation needs and explored new models for such collaboration.

Taking this joint initiative as an opportunity, the three parties will continuously deepen their cooperation, promote the integration and mutual reinforcement of Party building between banks and enterprises, and foster mutual promotion and synergy in business operations.
