In order to thoroughly study, implement, and carry out Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and in accordance with the general requirements for Party building in the new era, with the aim of leveraging high-quality Party building to drive high-quality development of state-owned enterprises, on March 19, 2024, the Party branch of Wuchan Daofu held a signing ceremony for a joint Party-building initiative and a pairing agreement for “close and clean” partnerships with the Party branch of the Chengdong Sub-branch of the Agricultural Bank of China. Zhou Na, Secretary of the company’s Party branch and Deputy General Manager, and Wang Zhenlei, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy President of the Chengdong Sub-branch of the Agricultural Bank of China, attended the signing ceremony.

At the meeting, General Manager Zhou provided an overview of State Street Corporation and its Party branch. She stated that the Party branch has consistently adhered to the guiding principle of “focusing on Party building to support development, and leveraging strong Party building to drive development,” striving to establish the “Rich Hearts, Strong Party” brand for Party building. The branch continuously innovates the forms of its Party-building work and fully harnesses the leading role of Party building in driving business development. She expressed the hope that both parties would take this pairing-and-cooperation initiative as an opportunity to enhance exchanges and mutual learning in the field of Party building, leverage each other’s resource advantages, and achieve win-win cooperation in business areas, thereby better translating the political strengths of the Party into developmental advantages for both sides. Together, they will draw a “concentric circle” of joint Party-building efforts and energetically embark on a new journey of high-quality development.

President Wang briefly introduced the basic situation, Business, and experience and methods of Party building work of the Chengdong Branch of the Agricultural Bank of China in Hangzhou. He expressed his hope that through joint Party building, a favorable situation of complementary advantages and coordinated development of Party organizations could be created, with greater cooperation in areas such as co-location and co-construction of organizations, mutual assistance and sharing of resources, and joint consultation and win-win development, so as to achieve deeper integration and interaction and build sincere friendship.

With all attendees witnessing, the two parties signed a joint construction agreement.
