National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Holds New Year Tea Party; Xi Jinping Delivers Important Speech

National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference 12 month 31 A New Year tea party was held that morning at the Great Hall of the People of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech. On behalf of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission, Xi Jinping extends warm New Year greetings to the democratic parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and non-affiliates; to all the people of China’s various ethnic groups; to our compatriots in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, as well as to Chinese overseas; and to friends from all countries who care about and support China’s modernization drive.

Having gone through 5 Years of arduous struggle, “ The 14th Five-Year Plan ” With a successful conclusion, China’s economic strength, scientific and technological prowess, national defense capabilities, and overall national power have all reached new heights. Through relentless striving and hard work, we have further strengthened our ambition, resilience, and confidence, and grown even more resolute in our determination and conviction to advance the building of a strong country and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Xi Jinping emphasized that over the past year, the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference has earnestly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, worked to consolidate the common ideological and political foundation for unity and struggle, and focused on offering policy advice and proposals on such key issues as further comprehensively deepening reform and promoting high-quality development, thereby making new contributions to the cause of the Party and the country.
