To follow in the footsteps of General Secretary Xi Jinping and thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, on July 8 the Party branch of Wuchan Daofu organized all its members to visit the Zhejiang Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine. During the activity, party members engaged in immersive learning of General Secretary Xi’s important thought, reflecting on their original aspirations and mission through ideological edification, and drawing strength to forge ahead.
Upon entering the Zhejiang Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Party members were immediately enveloped in a rich atmosphere of TCM culture. Led by professional docents, they toured the University History Hall, the History of Medicine Hall, the Chinese Materia Medica Hall, and other exhibition spaces, with particular emphasis on the signature sections dedicated to “the Zhejiang School of TCM” and “Chinese Materia Medica Specimens.” Through these exhibits, they gained an in-depth understanding of the development of Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, appreciated the millennia-old achievements of Chinese medicine, and recognized its vital role in modern medicine. The museum’s extensive collection of cultural relics and meticulously curated historical materials enabled Party members to step into the sacred hall of traditional Chinese medicinal culture, fully experiencing its enduring charm and timelessness, while also gaining a profound appreciation for the critical importance of advancing the inheritance, innovation, and development of TCM and of building a Healthy China.
This trace-and-origins-seeking activity is not only a profound exploration of traditional Chinese medicine culture, but also a spiritual journey that strengthens our ideals and convictions and enhances our Party spirit. Party members unanimously expressed that, throughout the visit, they deeply felt General Secretary Xi Jinping’s high regard for China’s fine traditional culture and his heartfelt concern for the development of the TCM cause. This has inspired them to approach their respective posts with greater political awareness and a stronger sense of mission, translating their learning outcomes into concrete actions and injecting new momentum into their work.
