Party Building Leads to Unified Strength; Integration Empowers and Drives Development

To thoroughly carry out the thematic education on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, enhance the Party spirit and moral cultivation of Party members, strengthen the bond between Party members and the general public, and boost employee cohesion and centripetal force, on May 6, the Party branch of Wuchan Daofu organized a joint visit to the ancient village of Shen’ao in Tonglu, bringing together Party members and non-Party members to conduct a themed Party Day activity titled “Party Building Leads Mass Building: Jointly Building the Daofu Chamber of Commerce.”

This event was centered around a series of targeted challenges, with Party members and non-Party employees from the company forming mixed teams to jointly participate in a Party-building knowledge competition and simulated business-management tasks. During the knowledge competition, each team revisited the history of the Party and delved deeply into the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, infusing the event with a strong red impetus. In the simulated business-management tasks, teams integrated Marxist principles and perspectives with practical business knowledge, gaining a firsthand appreciation for the compelling role of Party building in guiding and driving business development. The event also included an awards ceremony for teams that achieved outstanding results. Party members and non-Party employees alike expressed that the event not only enhanced their political awareness but also sharpened their professional skills, yielding substantial benefits.

This themed Party Day activity has deepened the branch members’ understanding of the masses, continuously strengthened their sense of responsibility and mission, and enhanced the branch’s influence among the public. It also marks a crucial step for the Wuchan Daofu Party Branch in advancing the approach of “Party building leading mass building, and mass building in turn promoting Party building.” Moving forward, the Wuchan Daofu Party Branch will take this thematic education as an opportunity to continue carrying out Party–mass work along the line of “joint Party–mass development,” identify the common ground between Party affairs and corporate culture-building, expand the depth and breadth of such joint efforts, and make these initiatives a key component of the branch’s brand-building. By pooling strengths to pursue initiatives and entrepreneurship, the branch will drive the company’s steady and sustainable development.

Zhou Na, Deputy General Manager of Wuchan Daofu and Secretary of the Party Branch of Wuchan Daofu, stated: “The most significant highlight of this event is the close integration of Party building with mass work, which has strengthened the bond between Party members in the branch and the company’s broader workforce. Party members must serve as pioneers and role models, maintaining close ties with the masses and engaging deeply among them; conducting joint Party–mass initiatives is an excellent way to achieve this. The Daofu Party Branch will continue to reinforce this collaborative approach, build consensus, pool collective strength, and establish a long-term working mechanism in which ‘Party building leads mass work, and mass work, in turn, promotes Party building.’”

Zhu Siting, Assistant General Manager of Wuchan Daofu and also the Publicity Officer and United Front Work Officer of the Wuchan Daofu Party Branch, stated: “The joint party–mass building initiative has provided a new direction for the Party Branch to carry out organizational life and brand-building efforts, enabling us to fully leverage the leadership role of the Party while enhancing the political awareness of the masses. We must integrate the planning and deployment of the company’s party–mass co-construction work with its overall development strategy, continuously refine the relevant systems and mechanisms for such initiatives, and ensure that these activities serve as a bridge for mobilizing the masses and strengthening the bond between the Party and the people.”

Mei Yanru, Head of the Human Resources Department at Wuchan Daofu and a member of the Party branch of Wuchan Daofu, stated: “I find this initiative—organizing joint activities for both Party members and non-Party employees—to be highly innovative. As a Party member, I have come to recognize my responsibility to set an example and serve as a role model for our colleagues; and as the head of the Human Resources Department, the collaborative efforts between the Party and the workforce have provided me with fresh perspectives and new directions for my work. Moving forward, I will strengthen communication with the Party and Mass Work Department and strive to organize more such joint initiatives.”

Wu Kaili, a logistics specialist in the Operations and Risk Control Department of Wuchan Daofu and a member of the Party branch of Wuchan Daofu, stated: “This event has strengthened my ties with the masses and deepened my understanding that, as a Communist Party member, I must always bear in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping’s earnest exhortation to ‘keep our eyes on the grassroots and our steps rooted among the people—draw from the masses and return to the masses.’ Moving forward, I will strive to excel in my work, remain proactive and enterprising, uphold my advanced nature, and fully exemplify the vanguard and model role of a Party member.”
