The Party Branch of the Case Filing Division of the Hangzhou Intermediate People’s Court and the Party Branch of Wuchan Daofu jointly organized a themed Party Day activity titled “Ink-Scented Greetings for National Day: Never Forget Our Original Aspiration.”

“Ink-Scented Celebration of National Day: Never Forget Our Original Aspiration” Themed Party Day Activity

To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, consolidate the foundation of the Party branch as a strong fighting fortress, and further strengthen Party member development and grassroots Party building, on the afternoon of September 28, the Case Filing Division Party Branch of the Hangzhou Intermediate People’s Court and the Wuchan Daofu Party Branch jointly organized a themed Party Day activity entitled “Ink Fragrance Welcomes National Day, Never Forget Our Original Aspiration.” Members of both Party branches gathered at the Hangzhou Municipal Party and Mass Service Center to study the spirit of the 15th Provincial Party Congress and presented ink paintings as a gift to celebrate National Day.

Unite as one and stay true to our original aspiration.

The event commenced with a special study session on the spirit of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, chaired by Comrade Lu Yiting, a delegate to the congress. During the session, it was emphasized that the report to the 15th Provincial Party Congress comprehensively summarized Zhejiang’s remarkable transformation over the past five years, outlined an ambitious blueprint and set forth clear goals for development over the next five years, and serves as both a guiding ideology and an action plan for Zhejiang to forge ahead in the new era and embark on a new journey.

Subsequently, a detailed interpretation was given of the spirit of the Party Congress, focusing on key terms such as “taking the lead in two areas,” “five major strategic guidelines,” “historic achievements in nine key areas,” and “building eight major high grounds.” It was emphasized that all members must closely integrate the spirit of the Party Congress with their actual work, continuously break new ground and achieve new accomplishments, strive to deliver outstanding results on the new journey of “taking the lead in two areas,” and greet the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with excellent performance.

Sincerely devoted to the Party, ink and brush nourish the heart.

During the subsequent calligraphy-experience session, teachers from the Zhejiang Provincial Calligraphers Association provided an introductory overview of brush calligraphy, helping participants gain a deeper understanding of the “Four Treasures of the Study”—brush, ink, paper, and inkstone—as well as the evolution and distinctive features of various calligraphic styles. They then guided Party members in practicing clerical script, regular script, and semi-cursive script. Through these refined tools of the study, participants were able to appreciate the elegant spirit and artistic charm that permeate them; and through the exploration of the evolution of calligraphic styles and foundational instruction, they gained a profound appreciation for China’s splendid civilization dating back to the Qin dynasty.

Each Party branch is a fortress, and each Party member is a banner. This event represents a vivid and innovative integration of Party-building work with the distinctive art of calligraphy between the two co-constructing branches, opening up a new avenue for solidly advancing Party-building cultural initiatives. The activity has been warmly praised by Party members, who unanimously affirmed their commitment to continuously strengthening their Party spirit, further consolidating their ideals and convictions, comprehensively enhancing their overall competence, translating Party-building cultural principles into concrete work practices, and striving to take the lead in building the “Two Pioneers.” Moving forward, the two Party branches will continue to deepen their mutual connectivity and joint construction, identify common ground in Party-building work, highlight new features and achievements in this area, expand the depth and breadth of their collaborative efforts, and jointly write a new chapter of integrated and cooperative development.
