All things come to life in spring.
On April 18, guided by the Party Branch of Dao Fortune, the trade union of Dao Fortune Co., Ltd. organized a spring outing for employees to Hangzhou Changle Forest Park, under the theme “Glimpses of Joy in the Woods · Painting Spring Together.”

Arriving in the afternoon, everyone transferred to sightseeing buggies and rode through the pond cypress forest, heading straight for the most lively activity: sawing bamboo. Adults and children worked together, sawing sections of fresh green bamboo, filling them with cured meat and sticky rice, and handing them over to the staff to be steamed.
While waiting, the waterside terrace was already set with lotus tea, snacks, and fresh fruit. People sat by the lake, let the breeze brush their faces, and chatted about everyday joys. Children crouched by the water watching little fish. The sound of sawing blended with laughter in the bamboo forest, becoming the most vivid soundtrack of spring.
The second stop was the Mushroom House. The celebrity-favorite path and the forest tree-planting spots drew everyone’s cameras.
As dusk approached, the group moved to Muxin Valley Campsite. Charcoal fire crackled under the open sky—thick-cut pork belly, chicken wings, and deep-sea squid sizzled on the grill, while a Korean army stew bubbled warmly. Colleagues gathered around the fire, some turning the meat, others sprinkling seasoning. Children ran and played on the lawn until twilight fell, finally bidding a reluctant goodbye and taking the buggy back.
On that day, we sawed bamboo, cooked over steam, brewed tea by the wind, grilled meat, and shared idle talk. In the embrace of the forest, we truly lived the spring we’d dreamed of. Moving forward, Dao Fortune will continue to follow its original mission of “serving employees and uniting hearts,” planning more team-building activities that blend nature, fun, and warmth.
