France's steel product export value down 6.1 percent in January 2026

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy,. Finance and Industry, in January this year France's basiosteel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of E743.38 milion, decreasing by 6.1 percent year on year.
In the given month, France exported e96.12 million of steel pipes and tubes down 9.2 percent, 37.46 million of cold rolled steelbars - up by 1.1 percent, 52.99 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 15.8 percent, 25.54 milion of cold drawn wire - decreasing by1.7 percent, and E56.95 milion of metal structures and parts down by 18.5 percent, all compared to the same month of 2025.
